History

Instead of retiring after 40 years in the agricultural property field, Ray Brownfield, ALC 1 , AFM 2 , began Land Pro LLC, which was organized by the state of Illinois on February 21, 2003. Farm management services to select clientele along with land investing and land consulting were offered. Land real estate brokerage services were provided through a startup land company near Chicago.

Early in 2013, Land Pro LLC became a full-service land real estate company, with an office located in Oswego, Illinois. The property management side of the business grew to manage over 70 farms in Illinois and Wisconsin and land real estate brokerage services were now offered through Land Pro LLC.

Land Pro grew again in 2015 with the addition of Chip Johnston who holds an Illinois Managing Broker license and more recently in 2017 with the addition of Pat Tomlinson and Jason Lestina, both holding an Illinois Real Estate Broker license.

Chip serves the north and north central portions of Illinois while Pat serves the Decatur Illinois area. In addition to being a Real Estate Broker, Pat is a Certified Crop Adviser. Jason, as well as being an Illinois Real Estate Broker, is an Accredited Farm Manager (AFM).

The mission of Land Pro LLC has been, and always will be, to provide high-quality, comprehensive services that maximize the value of real estate through impeccable ethics, professional service and ongoing education.
