Jason J. Lestina ALC AFM

Jason Lestina, Licensed IL Real Estate Managing Broker, Licensed IN Real Estate Managing Broker, Accredited Land Consultant (ALC),  and Accredited Farm Manager (AFM), joined the Land Pro team in April 2017 and provides real estate brokerage and property management services.

Jason holds the designations of Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), which is a highly regarded REALTORS® Land Institute (RLI) designation within the land brokerage profession, and the Accredited Farm Manager (AFM) designation, which is awarded by the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA). Jason is one of eighteen individuals in the United States to hold both the ALC and AFM designations.

The ALC and AFM designations are earned through years of experience, education, testing, and adherence to strict requirements for standards, ethics, and continuing education. As an ALC and AFM, Jason is afforded the opportunity to maximize the management and potential sale of land through various advertising platforms, education, and networking. Currently, Jason manages over 11,000 acres of land in Illinois for absentee landowners.

Jason was previously employed by the Northern Trust for ten years, with the last five of those years as a Trust Department Real Estate Portfolio Manager. His responsibilities included management of 18,000 farmland acres, as well as oversight management for other agricultural property managers.

Jason is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from NIU’s College of Business.

Jason is a member of the American Society of Farm Managers & Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA), the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers & Rural Appraisers (ISPFMRA), the REALTORS® Land Institute (RLI), the RLI Illinois Chapter, and The Chicago Farmers. Jason serves as the North-Central Director for the RLI Illinois Chapter.

Jason holds a Remote Pilot Certificate and oversees the aerial photography of the properties that Land Pro manages and markets for sale.

Jason is actively involved with his family crop and cattle operation in Will County. Jason, his wife Kelly and son, reside in Aurora Illinois.
