Patrick L. (Pat) Tomlinson

based out of Hoopeston, Illinois

Pat Tomlinson joined the Land Pro team in March 2017 and provides real estate brokerage services. 

In 1978, Pat joined Landers Seed Company as a management assistant. He then joined Pioneer in 1979 and worked first as a trainee then as District Sales Manager based out of Dwight Illinois. In 1982, Pat returned to Macon County working as the Pioneer District Sales Manager through 2009.  

While still with Pioneer, Pat accepted the position of Farm Manager Coordinator for the Heartland Business Unit. He represented Dupont Pioneer within the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ISPFMRA), the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) and the Indiana Chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.

In early 2016, Pat left Pioneer due to a sales team reorganization. He joined the Ag Spectrum Company shortly thereafter, and serves as District Manager in Illinois, working with company sales associates and growers throughout the state.

In March 2017, Pat was awarded the Service to Agriculture Award by the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.

Pat was on the Macon County Farm Bureau Board of Directors from 2005-2009. He is a member and Deacon of South Shores Christian Church of Decatur.

Pat and his wife Julie have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren.
